Thisfitmum emerged from the depths of adversity, a testament to resilience, determination, and the unwavering spirit of a mother determined to thrive despite life's most challenging trials. It is a story of rebirth following a marriage breakdown, navigating homelessness, and facing isolation with two young children, all set against the backdrop of the relentless Covid-19 pandemic.


In the midst of these tumultuous circumstances, as I found myself furloughed from work, a burning desire ignited within me – a need to channel my energy and purpose towards something meaningful. That something was a heartfelt commitment to helping others.

As a passionate fit mum, I had already confronted my own personal battles with under-active thyroid and PCOS. These battles had sculpted me into a warrior, ready to share my knowledge and experiences with those in need. My mission was clear: to empower others, especially women, on their journey to loving the skin they're in through health-focused approaches to diet and exercise, devoid of restrictive measures.


Making the transition to a healthier lifestyle can be a daunting and arduous process. It's true that some of our habits are deeply ingrained, products of years of practice. That's precisely why we focus on the implementation of positive lifestyle habits. It's about embracing change with open arms, one step at a time.


In addition to nutrition and fitness, I am a fervent advocate for the importance of self-care. As mothers, we often place our own needs at the bottom of the list, believing it's our duty to prioritise the well-being of our families. However, I firmly believe that as leaders of the pack, we must ensure that we are fit, healthy, and content so that we can effectively support the rest of our tribe.


My approach to teaching mums extends beyond just the individual; it encompasses the entire family unit. I have witnessed countless mothers instigate positive, healthy changes within their households. The adage "monkey see, monkey do" holds true – our children are always watching. By making mums healthier and happier, I am also nurturing the well-being of their children and partners. It's a ripple effect of positivity that extends far beyond one individual.
