Just like we can be quick to compliment others but will freely put ourselves down.

So remember to be kind to yourself! Here’s some ways you can be kinder to yourself:
❤️ Make time for yourself. Life can be going 1000 miles per hour sometimes and especially as a mum, you tend to put yourself at the bottom of the priority pile. But you can’t give from an empty cup. Those around you will benefit from a fully charged you
❤️ Recognise your achievements. Be proud of what you achieve. We can often be quick to acknowledge the achievement of others but never acknowledge our own.
❤️ Forgive yourself. No one is perfect! We all mess up. It’s all part of the process of learning life. Apologise to others or yourself if necessary and don’t hold on to it.
❤️ Take care of yourself. Get enough sleep, drink enough water, exercise, eat fruits and veg. It’s not just your body that needs these things it’s also your mind. Give your body the ingredients it needs to perform at its best.
❤️ Make an effort. To keep yourself groomed. Look after your appearance, feel good about yourself and respect yourself.
❤️ Stop trying to be perfect. Imperfections are what make us beautiful and unique. Don’t compare yourself to any one else because they’re on a completely different journey to you
❤️ Set realistic goals. Don’t set yourself up for failure. Over setting goals and failing means you’re likely to stop trying or will feel bad. If you achieve realistic goals you’ll feel more positive and continue to keep going
❤️ Accept yourself. For who you are. You are unique, embrace that person! You have strengths, you have weaknesses. Sometimes you’re right, other times wrong. Sometimes you succeed and sometimes you fail.
There’s only one person you will always have a relationship with, and that’s yourself.
